Domaine Barville Chateauneuf-du-Pape (France)

You might have heard of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, an AOP of the southern Rhone which is known for characterful and mighty red wines, produced under strict quality standards. This wine is a shining example from the region, and packs a certain punch.

Typical of the are, expect to smell  spices, black pepper, lavender, black cherries and blackberries. Elegant and powerful, with a distinctive velvety palate showing red fruits and spellbinding notes of garrigue. An absolute pleasure to drink now, or capable of cellar ageing.
