Turckheim Vieilles Vignes Gewürztraminer (France)

Aromatic, luscious, and textured, this is a quintessential old vine Alsace Gewürztraminer at a fantastic price. Rich and generous, with crystallised lemon and lime marmalade flavours, and other subtle aromas of tea, rose, lychee and honey. The palate is rich, rounded and ripe lifted by a bright floral and honey characters and complemented by lush acidity. Complex and delicious!

Produced from vines over 30 years of age, giving the wine an intense and elegant flavour. The Turckheim vineyards in Alsace are known for their quality wines that are made with sustainability in mind.

Good with chicken slald Thai style, and can stand up to a healthy dollop of Chilli paste. Alternatively, try with duck dishes, including duck pate if you're just in the mood for a snack. Peppers stuffed with jasmine rice or tabouleh is a great match too.
