Terre di San Leonardo Rosso (Italy)

Bordeaux-style blend from the Italian Dolomites from an outstanding producer. Unique, full-bodied and complex, we strongly recommend you get your hands on a bottle of this.

This wine has notes of blackcurrant, tobacco and dark chocolate. Outstanding balance with soft tannins and a hint of roasted herbs.

The blend is 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 10% Carménère. Fermented in cement tanks, 80% of the wine is aged for 18 months in big Slavonian oak barrels and the remaining 20% in French barriques for at least 6 months, followed by a minimum of 6 months rest in bottle before release. 

This wine is ideal for pairing with hearty meat dishes or aged cheeses and is the perfect choice for those looking for a full-bodied, deeply satisfying red wine.
