Soalheiro 'Alma' (Portugal)

From the Vinho Verde region comes a remarkably fresh, citric, and zingy white wine - the wonderful Alma! This is incredibly zesty, and almost tastes like a lime cordial, backed up with the flavours of green apple, pear, and tangerine. Precise and refreshing, with a finely balanced texture and a lingering mineral finish.

Soalheiro is a pioneer of quality winemaking in Vinho Verde, famed for elevating the Loureiro and Alvarinho grapes to international acclaim. The Alma project takes their philosophy a step further – focusing on purity of terroir and varietal expression, crafted with precision in the far north of Portugal, on the left bank of the Minho River.

Pair this with seafood, for example grilled prawns with lemon.
