Pours a ruby red colour, with rich aromas of black cherry, fig and chocolate. Velvety, round mouthfeel, with a full body, and seductively long finish. Gorgeous hints of warm oak spice. 

Grown around 6 miles to the West of the town of Montalcino, where Brunello di Montalcino hails from, Malintoppo matches the same quality and is a fraction of the price. 

Pair with charcuterie, such as prosciutto, meat cured with pepper and fennel, with olives and cheese on schiacciatta, or on any other rustic, crusty bread.
