Reveleste Albariño (Spain)

Ripe and zesty Albariño from Rias Baixas with zingy green apple and stone fruit flavours. It's great with seafood or perfect on its own for a true taste of sun-soaked Spain.  Aromas of ripe citrus fruit lead to a fresh, crisp palate of lemon zest, fresh lime, zingy green apples, stone fruits and notes of flint soil. As with all good Albarinos there is a fruit bowl of flavours, all distinctive, yet combining to a delicious glass of wine.

Named after the rías, or estuarine inlets, that flow as far as 20 miles inland, Rías Baixas is an Atlantic coastal region with a cool and wet maritime climate. The entire region claims soil based on granite bedrock, but the inlets create five subregions of slightly different growing environments for its prized white grape, Albariño.

A natural match for seafood, particularly mussels in a herby tomato sauce. Also dangerously delicious on its own!
