Pre Baron Sauvingon Blanc Vielles Vignes (France)

This white from the Loire Valley is like Sauvignon Blanc on steroids. ‘Vielles Vignes’ means ‘old vines’ and you can tell that from the sheer intensity of this wine. It has a significant palate weight, almost New World in style, with passionfruit jumping out of the glass. Nicely rounded, with a rich texture and a long finish.
