Pita Verdejo (Spain)

A great example of Rueda Verdejo that’s a perfect alternative for the Sauvignon Blanc lovers in your life! It's fruity and floral with balanced acidity and a moreish finish.  It's fresh, fruit forward, full of passionfruit and grapefruit and there's plenty of fresh acidity to balance the natural weight of the grape variety. 

Bodegas Pita are an Organic, family run, single estate (all grapes are from their own vineyards) headed up by winemaker Emilio Pita who began his training in Bordeaux, taking inspiration from the underrated whites of the region. He returned home to Rueda with a belief and evangelism for his Verdejo vines, armed with a strong belief that great whites are possible with Verdejo in Rueda.

A wonderful aperitif, with summer salads, or maybe some roast chicken. We absolutely love this wine and think it's a perfect choice for almost every occasion!
