Pianerosse Verdeca (Italy)

Verdeca is the Italian version of Spain's Verdejo. This grape produces a fresh and fruity style of wine with hints of citrus, peach and apple. It’s nicely mouthwatering, with a little hint of savouriness, and is as elegant as Joanna Lumley wearing a diamond tiara.

The grapes are carefully harvested in the wee hours of dawn to preserve maximum aroma. After fermentation at 13 ° for 10 days, the wine ages for 3 months in stainless steel to preserve freshness.

This would be a great pairing for Italian seafood dishes! Think Sardinian paella or clam linguini.
