Paolini Grillo Bio Terre Siciliane (Italy)

Crisp, dry and zesty, this wonderful Sicilian white is as fresh as a daisy. Expect flavours of apricot, peach and lemon. Nice to drink on its own, but has enough depth to stand its ground with a roast chicken! 

Grillo is Sicily's native grape variety, originally used in the production of Marsala wine. Now appreciated for its light, fruit driven wines, this organic Grillo from Cantine Paolini has no sulphites added, and is a beautiful pure expression of fruit. The colour is a pale straw yellow, with a fruity scent with light notes of Sicilian citrus. On the palate it is clean and light, with a fragrant flavour and a good level of acidity. Organic, delicious and incredible value!

A delicious and zippy white wine that is great on its own, but also pairs well with seafood and light pasta dishes.
