Far into the Uruguayan Pampas you'll find a family vineyard growing top grade grapes and hardy (but probably boozey) freeroming sheep. The care they take for the vines and animals is clear from the first sip; we're tasting a very clean minerality with dried apricot and mandarin leaf. Fully natural, but a far departure from other cider-ish styles you might find.
Pía and Piero Carrau, the winemakers, are blending Trebbian and Petit Manseng with 90 days of skin contact to make an incredibly easy drinking wine, with just the right amount of interest in the flavours. We're very happy to have found this one.
Pair this with nuts and cheeses, or even a gammon dinner (incouding obligatory pineapple ring).
Vintages may vary. Please contact us if you are looking for a specific vintage.
