Monrouby Syrah/Carignan IGP Pays D'Oc (France)

This is a bit of an anomaly. How can wine at this price be this good? It’s a mistake, surely. If I were you, I’d buy some of this quickly, before our supplier realises they’ve sold it to us too cheaply!

This blend of Syrah and Carignan is a deep ruby in colour. The nose displays aromas of blackberry, red plum and a touch of spice. On the palate, the ripe blackberry flavour is  balanced by a lively acidity and well-integrated tannins.

Insanely good value.
