Le Professeur Marselan (France)

The Marselan grape is a crossing of Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon. A warm and juicy red, full of prune,  juicy blackcurrant and red plum flavours. A nice whiff of cinnamon and fudge too. Silky soft and very quaffable. A great accompaniment to steak and chips! At this price, you’d be mad not to.

The label is by a Carcassonne-based artist Sylvain Rouaud. He designed the label as a tribute to Paul Truel, the experimental creator of the Marselan grape.
