L'Abeille Picpoul de Pinet (France)

Top quality Picpoul from a brilliant, innovative winemaker. Crisp and bright with zippy melon vines.  The name Picpoul, literally translates as "Lip Stinger", referring to the grape's naturally bright acidity. 

This is a wonderfully fresh, crisp, refreshing white from the sun-baked South of France. The high acidity makes it the perfect partner for seafood, but this wine works perfectly well just on its own.

On the palate, this dry white has plenty of stone fruit and melon flavours, with a hint of baked apple. Try it with oysters!
