La Battistina ‘Secondo’ Timorasso (Italy)

Pinot Grigio lovers - look over here! This tantalising Timorasso provides a great alternative. This wine is bright and vibrant in the glass with aromas of lime zest, fresh pear, acacia and chamomile. Subtle mineral notes and a faint beeswax character on the palate, along with a whisper of almond. Gorgeous, quaffable, hard to dislike. We are loving this.

These Timorasso vines were planted in 2020 on limestone and clay soil. This wine is named ‘Secondo’ as the second wine produced by the La Battistina estate. The first was their Gavi, already a firm Cork customer favourite.
