Moulin-à-Vent is considered the crowned King of Beaujolais by many. We are massive Beaujolais fans at Cork of the North, and we absolutely love this robust, tannic and ageworthy example, more serious and complex than your average.
The Moulin à Vent reveals powerful flavours of ripe red fruits (cherry, blackcurrant), flowers (peony) and spices (pepper). It is well structured, fleshy and balanced in mouth, with ripe seductive tannins on the finish. Potential of ageing: from 5 to 8 years.
Pair this effortlessly with grilled beef, lamb chops, or aged cheeses.
Vintages may vary. Please contact us if you are looking for a specific vintage.
