'Italian Plastic' is a venture from the crew at Alpha Box & Dice, and this blush rosé is a prime example of their talent and experimentation. A naughty, dusty, skinsy pink Pinot Gris overflowing with mouth-watering guava and watermelon juicy freshness.

This wine is made inspired by the traditional Ramato style, native to Friuli in Italy, which describes when Pinot Grigio grapes are crushed and the skins are allowed to spend time with the juice, resulting in a teasing, tactile texture and coppery hue, characteristic of distinct wine style. It comes from the word ‘rame’ which means ‘copper’ in Italian.

What distinguishes Ramato from a rosé or orange wine is that Ramato is a product of historical winemaking style from Friuli, Italy, made with Pinot Grigio grapes.

This wine is peachy, hazy and textural, and would pair beautifully with spicy Vietnamese cuisine, the wine's fruitiness helping to balance heat.
