Gusbourne Brut Reserve (England)

Quite simply, this is the best English fizz on the market, giving top Champagne a run for its money. The Brut Reserve is solidly Gusbourne's best seller. 

The colour of the wine is bright gold, the bubbles soft and sumptuous, with aromas strawberry, cherry and pastries. 

The winemaker describes the varietal structure with "Chardonnay acting as the structural component, Pinot Noir bringing body and depth and finally Pinot Meunier adding floral and additional fruity notes to the wine."

In the spirit of celebrating English sparkling, pair with English food: seared scallops, smoked eels and fish and chips are all good contenders.
