Grande Courtade Alvarinho (France)

French Alvarinho is a must-try! This grape is famed in Portugal and Spain, but also thrives in France. This wine is vibrantly fresh, boasting flavours of crisp green apple, peach and lemon. It is bone-dry, light-bodied and delightfully refreshing, with a hint of salty sea air. 

This is an organic wine made by Famille Fabre, who have been making wine in the Languedoc for centuries. Alvarinho grows exceptionally in the limestone and marl soils here. Their commitment to organic practices since 1991 was pioneering, and speaks to a deep-seated respect for the land. 

Pair this with prawns in garlic butter or grilled white fish.
