G.D. Vajra Luigi Baudana 'The Dragon' (Italy)

'The Dragon' is a wonderfully unique Italian white blend made by a top Piemonte producer. It's vibrant and spicy, with lovely notes of white blossom and light lemon curd. This is a truly special wine, perfect for celebrating and enjoying with your nearest and dearest.

This wine blends well-known white grape varieties with the much rarer grape Nasceta, which gives the a lovely elegance. The Barolo region where the Luigi Baudana winery is situated mostly focusses on Nebbiolo production, so this wine makes its winery highly unique. The wine was fermented in stainless steel vats at a low temperature, and has spent time on fine lees.

This wine can stand up to a variety of foods. Think simple pastas with olive oil and Parmigiano Reggiano, grilled courgette, or shellfish garnished with lemon.
