Fuenteseca Bobal/Cabernet Sauvignon (Spain)

A soft and juicy organic blend. The red fruit flavours from the Bobal mix brilliantly with the blackcurrant flavours of the Cabernet here - it's a a good option for those wanting a smooth but medium to full-bodied red with character, at an affordable price.

Vineyards are located in the north-west corner of Utiel Requena, 900 metres above sea level. Wines are made from organically-grown grapes in vineyards cultivated using natural fertilisers, cover crops, biological control of pests and not using any chemical products that may damage the health of the environment. Grapes are cooled and undergo pre-ferment whole bunch maceration before temperature controlled tank fermentation.

Pair this with meat paella, chargrilled peppers or chorizo dishes, or just as well your mid-week pastas!
