Think of Zweigelt like Austria's answer to Beaujolais, producing lighter styles of red wine with red fruit flavours and a juicy youthfulness. Zweigelt often offers a hint more mineral complexity than Beaujolais, and this wine is no exception.

This is great with roast lamb or even game.... But we are more than happy to drink it on its own!
