A rustic style red from the Southern Rhône. Light but luscious!
40% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 15% Carignan and 15% Cinsault
The nose offers seductive notes of red fruit such as blackcurrants and blueberries, skilfully punctuated with notes of leather and violets. The palate increases this gourmet character, perfectly balanced by beautiful freshness and soft tannins which bring a lot of finesse and aromas of fully ripe red fruit enhanced by a touch of pepper. A very pleasant wine, very drinkable.
Famille Perrin is one of the most recognisable names in the Southern Rhône. The fifth and sixth generations of the family now manage the extensive vineyard holdings and grower partnerships which stretch across the region, from Vinsobres to the Ventoux.
The vineyards are located on the slopes of Mont Ventoux. The altitude offers freshness, which provides a good acidity level to the grapes. The wine is therefore fresh, fruity and well balanced.
