Eric Forest Les Crays Pouilly-Fuisse Premier Cru (Burgundy, France)

Les Crays is an iconic area of the Maconnais! This is wonderfully complex, with notes of lime, almond, tropical fruit, cream, tangerine, spiced pear, vanilla and toast.

Les Crays has recently been awarded Premier Cru status, known for its limestone and marl soils as well as its south-facing slope, bright and protected from the cool north wind. This enables the production of fatty wines with chiseled minerality and rich citrus aromas. Truly delish.

Try this with hard cheeses such as Comté, or with chicken roasted with lemon and thyme.
