Domaine de la Dourbie 'Oscar' Blanc (France)
Domaine de la Dourbie 'Oscar' Blanc (France)
Made from the local grape Terret Blanc, this organic Southern French white is fresh and crisp, capturing the feel of the Languedoc. We REALLY like this.
Established in 1781 at the base of the Causse du Larzac, the estate name is inspired by the nearby Dourbie River that gracefully meanders through its vineyards before joining the Herault.
At the heart of their philosophy lies a commitment to authenticity and a deep connection with the terroir, vines, and local producers. Grounded in the love for the Herault valley, they are constantly seeking new adventures and embracing novel experiences.
The style is fruity and aromatic, with notes of citrus peel, stone fruit, passionfruit, delicate pink flower, and a hint of mint. The colour is lemon yellow with light green reflections. In the mouth, the wine is a lively and frank attack on the senses.
Pair with pork dishes.
