Domaine de Beaurenard Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2020 (France)
Domaine de Beaurenard Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2020 (France)
This is the winery's flagship wine, a blend of all 13 grape varieties of the appellation, Grenache being the predominant at 65%. A quintessential Chateauneuf.
An immensely fruity nose, with spicy and balsamic notes, then great complexity on the palate: power, finesse, and an incredibly long, mineral-fresh finish. The grapes are hand-picked and sorted in the vineyard. Matured for 12 months in conical vats, foudres and barrels.
Domaine de Beaurenard is an 8th generation family run winery. Today, brothers Daniel and Frédéric Coulon along with Daniel’s sons Victor and Antonin show their dedication to producing the purest expression of their historic terroirs, whilst using more modern organic and biodynamic cultivation.
Best served with all types of classic meat dishes, veal, pork, beef, lamb, duck, game, roast chicken, roasted, braised, stewed, and grilled dishes, sausage, cassoulet, eggplant, and tomatoes. Also pairs well with Asian dishes, hearty fish courses like tuna, mushrooms, and pasta.
