DIKA Grasevina (Croatia)
DIKA Grasevina (Croatia)
It's time to give Croatia the wine props it deserves!
Feravino is located in the eastern region of Slavonia. It's renowned for its delicately aromatic whites made from Graševina, the local name for Welschriesling. This is Croatia's most important white variety, accounting for approximately a third of plantings in the region! It typically produces textured wines with bright acidity and orchard fruit flavours.
The wine is delicately aromatic with typical green apple notes of Welschriesling. Just a light floral note gives it some complexity and adds to its liveliness. Vinified in stainless steel tanks, DIKA Graševina is fresh and fruit-driven, with white peach flavours and a touch of almond on the finish. It's subtle, not to be underestimated however, and really grows on you.
Pair this with light pasta dishes, such as aglio e olio, or seafood.
