Curatolo Arini Gagliardetta Zibibbo (Italy)

This elegant Zibibbo is from an amazing Sicilian producer and has cemented itself as a proper staff favourite. 'Zibibbo' is the Sicilian name for Muscat of Alexandria!

The wine is golden-hued and bursting with orange blossom, citrus, sage and white rose. The complexity is unreal! The palate is balanced and fresh with a bright bergamot finish. Wowza!

Curatolo Arini was founded in 1875 and is now run by the family's fifth generation! This single-vineyard wine is a tribute to their experience and finesse. 

Pair this with seafood. Swordfish with capers and lemon would match extremely well. The winemakers themselves suggest sashimi or oysters. Despite this, the wine is still stunning drank on its own.
