Coquille de Mer Vermentino (France)

These Vermentino grapes are grown in the Southern French sunshine, in view of the Mediterranean.The wine is produced at Cebazan in the heart of the Languedoc, just inland from Beziers.

Locals regularly serve this with seafood dishes. Its bright acidity and citrus flavours marry well with the local scallops, after which the wine is named.
