Colle dei Tigli Bianco del Veneto (Italy)

Dry and crisp, with a complex structure and fruity aroma. It has a zesty lime flavour and is a great alternative for Pinot Grigio lovers! This Cork of the North all time favourite is made with Cortese and Garganega grapes to produce a brilliant wine with an enticing apple flavour and lightly honeyed finish. 

Made on an ancient hill (Colle) covered with lime trees (Tigli), 300m high on the eastern shores of Lake Garda in the heart of the hilly area of Bardolino which is particularly well suited to the growing of vines. From its 100 plus ha of specialised vineyards, Lenotti produce a wide range of regional wines and pride themselves on the quality of their products.

Definitely a wine that can stand up to drinking on its own, but lovely with food such as white fish, seafood, chicken salads and asparagus.
