Clos del Rey Baby del Rey Blanc (France)

Clos del Rey are a father son winemaking duo producing wines bursting with flavour and charm. This is a brilliant bottle, reminding us of the temptation to set up shop in the south of France.

Ripe stone fruits, and zippy citrus fruit. Crisp, clean, and zesty, but soft and lingering from a touch of leese aging.

The vineyard is nessled in the foothills of the Pyrénées, not far from the Med, on an abandoned iron mine. With vines up to 120 years old across their 50 hectares, Jacques and Julien pick and choose only the best parcels to keep for themselves, with the rest being sold off to local cooperatives.

This is pefect with grilled fish or a fresh leaf salad.
