Christophe Mittnacht 'Terres d'Etoiles' Pinot Blanc (France)

A beautifully elegant Alsatian Pinot Blanc- gently delicious and understated! It has lovely lemon citrus flavours with bags of stone fruit and aromatic notes. The nose is buttery and floral. It is a dry wine, drinkable thanks to this slight freshness which lasts throughout the tasting. The aromas are reminiscent of yellow flowers, but also white-fleshed fruits (pear, quince, etc.).

They were one of the first domaines in Alsace to convert to biodynamic viticulture in 1999. Christophe believes in minimum intervention, and allowing the soil to express the minerality of each terroir. These biodynamic wines are super gastronomical, pure fruit, sharp acidity and lovely minerality.

Beautiful with oily fishes like salmon and trout, great with vegetarian risotto and can also hold its own against spicier cuisines. Yum!
