Chateau Larose Trintaudon Haut Medoc 2019 (France)
Chateau Larose Trintaudon Haut Medoc 2019 (France)
Here is a lovely Claret that delivers on all fronts.
The wine is a blend of 47% Merlot, 44% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Petit Verdot for added structure. It is a charming vintage, which boasts aromas of bright blackberry and plum fruit, a full-bodied and richly textured palate and a lingering finish.
Château Larose Trintaudon has 190 hectares of vineyard, some of which lie adjacent to those of Château Latour. The property dates back to 1719, and their recent elevation to Cru Bourgeois Supérieur classification from the 2018 vintage is testament to their continued success.
The 2019 brilliantly gleaming intense ruby red. On the nose, a bouquet of delicious fruit with notes of strawberry and redcurrant. Superbly fresh and well-balanced with great purity of fruit, smoothness without excessive exuberance, and a silkiness of tannins.
