Lovely Malbec with great depth and heaps of personality! Notes of sumptuous dark chocolate, blueberry and dark fruit. Complex, with a smoky charm. You know you want it....
First made in 1947, Caballero de la Cepa was a trailblazer - one of Argentina's first premium wines, and a name that still carries weight today. The fruit comes from rocky, well-drained vineyards in Barrancas, where low yields and high altitude give concentration without heaviness. This wine is aged in old French oak to let the fruit shine.
Brilliant with grilled lamb or smoky aubergine dishes.
