Borsao Seleccion Blanco (Spain)

This is a hugely satisfying white that really punches above its weight at this price. A well-balanced blend of Macabeo and Chardonnay, it has stone fruit and limey citrus aromas with tropical fruit characters. There is a lightly creamy mouth-feel from the gentle oak ageing and a bright, clean finish. 

Borsao has access to a large number of vineyard plots at different altitudes, and hence to a wide selection of fantastic quality grapes. They are recognised for their entry level varietals - as outstanding examples of easy-to-drink inexpensive wines - as they are for their premium wines.

Perfect with creamy chicken and tarragon or grilled fish.
