An amazing value French Viognier with real elegance. It has aromas of almond and honey with decadent guava and apricot flavours. It is lighter and cleaner than some Viogniers with wonderful balanced acidity and fruit. With delicate aromas of almonds and honey, the palate is predominantly tropical fruit. It is a really good example of the grape variety at its purest and if you haven’t tried Viognier before, try this one.

The grapes for these wines are sourced from the Badassiere vineyards located in the small, French town of Pomerois. An interesting piece of information about these vineyards is that they were owned by Baron Charles Emmanuel during the 18th century!  The coastal area in the south of France enjoys a windy climate most of the times. This, along with the warm summers, helps the grapes grown here to ripen naturally with all their flavours intact.

It's delicious on its own and works very well with sweet vegetable dishes such as roasted red peppers and grilled courgettes and even lightly spiced Asian dishes
