Barbeito Madeira Single Harvest Tinta Negra 2011 (50cl)

This Single Harvest results from the blend of musts obtained from grapes grown in unique vineyards located on the southern and northern coasts of Madeira. The grapes from Estreito de Câmara de Lobos were harvested one week before full ripeness. We selected grapes from high-altitude areas of São Vicente to obtain higher acidity. The grapes were pre-crushed and pressed with stems. The aging process in Canteiro began in March 2012, in old French oak casks. Bottled in April 2024.

Tasting Notes:

Bright golden colour.
Freshness and smoothness on an aromatic nose. Hints of dried grass, toasted nuts, and apricot. Balanced wine with a subtle and silky palate. Firm and fresh acidity in a beautiful dry finish. Excellent as an aperitif. Pairs well with olives, toasted almonds, marinated fish, salads, and cheeses.
