Aniello 006 Merlot (Argentina)

An outstanding, succulent and soft Merlot from Patagonia, the most southerly of Argentina's wine regions. Merlot isn't seen quite so often in Argentina, but it thrives in Patagonia’s cool climate. This one is a class act – full-bodied, with dense and velvety plum flavours.

Aromas of ripe blackberry and cherry, with hints of tobacco and spice. Rich and full-bodied, with a smooth finish. Aniello 006 Merlot is a classic Argentine red.

This pairs perfectly with a juicy steak, roasted potatoes, and a side of sautéed mushrooms. The bold flavors of the Merlot will bring out the savoury flavours of the steak and mushrooms, while the roasted potatoes will provide a nice balance to the dish.
