We all absolutely ADORE Beaujolais at Cork of the North. This is a fantastically typical expression of it: light to medium bodied, high acidity and driven by crunchy and delicate cherry and strawberry flavours. Bloody lovely.
This is made with top quality Gamay grapes showing vibrant cherry fruit and refreshing acidity from a very consistent producer. André Colonge is a 30-hectare domaine run by two brothers, Landry and Samuel, and their father Serge. It was originally started by Andre’s grandfather. 7 of their hectares are in Fleurie and 18 are Beaujolais / Beaujolais Villages.
Pair this with charcuterie, pâté, or soft cheeses like Brie and Camembert.
Vintages may vary. Please contact us if you are looking for a specific vintage.
