Alpha Zeta 'Valpantena' Valpolicella (Italy)

This luscious new red has a complex intensity, with sweet and juicy red fruit flavours. Medium-bodied, with silky tannins and a crisp acidity. Expect simple Valpolicella freshness, showing what the Corvina grape can do when planted on the best sites.

After fermentation, one third of the wine is aged in French oak for just under a year. The final blend is then bottled and aged for an additional three months before release.

This wine is made to be enjoyed with food, particularly anything topped with aged Parmesan cheese. We think it is excellent with a mushroom risotto, or a grilled vegetable pizza topped with fresh basil. Delicious.
