Achillée Pinot Noir Granite (France)
Achillée Pinot Noir Granite (France)
As soon as it is opened, it presents an increasingly strong fruit nose, with intense aromas of blackberries, blueberries and subtle coffee notes. Pure, fruity grape juice with unbelievable drinking pleasure. Interesting, slightly smoky taste, with notes of blackberry, plum and cranberries ending with an enticing smoky finish.
Based in the village of Scherwiller, halfway between Strasbourg and Colmar, Domaine Achillée was named after yarrow, a very important plant used in biodynamic farming and one that grows abundantly on the Dietrich family’s vineyards. Their winery is rumoured to be the largest building made of straw in Europe.
Pair with a selection of cheeses.
