Achillée Pinot Blanc (France)

A bright, medium bodied natural Pinot Blanc showcasing just how innovative Alsace can be. There's touches of sweet almond, and peaches as well as Mirabelle plums. The palate has great acidity, with a finish of ripe peach. The sweet almond aromas find their echo on the palate. A stunning, intentionally oxidative acidity gives way to a complex and nutty finish.

This wine is certified organic and biodynamic and made by a family who have farmed in this area of Alsace for more than 400 years. The bottle is truly gorgeous and makes for a wonderful gift for a natural wine lover.

It's great as an aperitif or to drink on virtually any occasion. It works well with white meats, soft cheeses or almond based desserts.
